Sturgeon Consulting

IBM Business Partner
I provide consultancy services in Domino Application Design, Web Development, and System Design/Administration. I have experience in a variety of software technologies including, but not limited to: Notes R4.x, Domino R5, DHTML, JavaScript, LotusScript, @Formulas, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), SQL, and ASP.

Advanced Database Development Services
My specialty is developing Lotus Notes/Domino applications for use via both Notes client and web browser interfaces. From single system/single database applications to complex multi-database systems running on clustered servers, I've done it all.

Application Tuning
If your company already uses Lotus Notes/Domino, then you're no doubt aware of the benefits it can offer. And although you may have in-house Notes/Domino skills, there may still be areas in which you might need extra help. Whether it's complex system/data integration, or enhancing and tuning that stubborn application, I can help.

External Data Exchange
As with many organizations, yours probably has data housed on numerous systems stored in many different ways. I've had experience dealing with many of these types of systems including MS SQL, Access, Flat file (text), Excel (csv), and others.

Application Integration
Configuring Lotus Notes/Domino to work with other applications can be tricky. Whether you need API integration, ODBC data exchange, COM interface development, or back-end programming ... I've done it.

Infrastructure Design
If your planning an implementation, or just trying to improve information flow, the correct system infrastructure and proper replication planning can greatly increase network throughput to your servers and prevent costly bottlenecks and network upgrades. I've designed Notes/Domino infrastructures for several companies, and managed implementation from 20 users to 3,000 users.

Systems Administration
While Lotus does make it easy to administer even the largest user installations, you may still need additional assistance troubleshooting server problems, or migrating to the "Latest and Greatest". I've managed Lotus Notes/Domino on a variety of server platforms including Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Linux, AIX, and numerous desktop operating systems. I've been involved in installations as small as single server/20 users, and as large as 50 server/3,000 users.

End-User Training
How much you spend on user support or training is up to you. Educated users are more productive. They in return provide training to the other users by association, whether they work in the same group or are just around.
